The importance of delivering quality care is ever increasing in the healthcare marketplace. As new federal standards roll out that base reimbursement on quality deliverance, it was decided that Upstate Cardiology’s patient survey needed to more accurately reflect the expectations of the Agency for Healthcare Quality and Research, Medicare, and Medicaid. I designed this new survey from the ground up to capture how the practice has been performing over the past year and how that performance compares to a patient’s most recent visit. Additionally, there is a comment section that encourages individuals to highlight what made their visit pleasurable and where the practice has opportunity for improvement.
