 This essay seeks to answer a set of public health related questions that were assigned at the conclusion of my internship experience. The first section looks towards how social determinants of health influence the way care is delivered. The second part of the essay focuses on how the culture of an organization can shape behavior and governance. To close, the last portion of the paper proposes a cost-effective policy intervention that would reduce the incidence of heart related morbidity and mortality in the region.
