John W. Amory

I conducted an informational interview with Mr. Ron Eskew on March 6th, 2015. Mr. Eskew serves as the Practice Administrator at Upstate Cardiology’s practice in Greenville, South Carolina. He graduated from Furman University through their ROTC program, and continued on to the Army thereafter. There, he served a multitude of roles ranging from emergency medical care on the front lines to operating as the CEO of a military hospital in California.  Following his retirement in 2006, he returned from California back home to the South to work in his current role at Upstate Cardiology in Greenville. My personal relationship with Mr. Eskew began in February of 2015 during my search for a summer internship. I will be working under Ron and his staff this summer, and look forward to learning about what it takes to operate a practice as successful as Upstate.
